I haven't driven the alpine loop since i was a young girl. It was breathtaking. I drove, as i usually do, and the road is very narrow. I was making rob nervous but we enjoyed the drive! So, if you have time, go and enjoy. We drove while we listened to sunday afternoon session of General Conference and our house was being bombed for bugs. Spiders really. Huge spiders. eeewww.
