Can't wait till christmas

So i am considering doing a 'homemade christmas''

unfortunately i have no idea how to do this for men and boys. If i had girls, i think it would be 1000 times easier. (maybe??) Anyway, i could really use any ideas you have.

A new Tradition

So i have this book that has a bunch of fun holiday crafts and ideas. In my quest to not be a scrooget i have done two: make christmas ornaments out of tin foil and make a gingerbread house. Really the gingerbread house is made out of a soda box 4 pack. Rob did the sides, back and landscape. i did the front and the roof. after we were done we giggled about it being the ugliest 'gingerbread' house we'd ever seen. so i thought i'd share the laughs. don't worry, next years will be better.

Back of house (this had me giggleing the most)notice how the candy canes slid down and made a pile at the bottom. i have no idea what rob's vision was with this.

Overall we had a blast with this. i am not the most creative woman ever and rob has all the artistic talent between the two of us. we are looking forward to when Caleb can do his own. Merry Christmas!!
